C2The C2 is Thomas Built Buses new conventional/Type C model which will revolutionize the school transportation industry. Everything from its electrical system to its basic body structure is different and designed with your students' safety in mind. It is built to be the most durable and reliable bus on the road.

Key features include:

Use of structural adhesives and self-piercing rivets instead of traditional designs. These blew away the joint strength tests under FMVSS and will result in a safer, better built bus with fewer leak paths and less rust potential. 

Its Saf-T-Net Construction results in a safer bus. All roof bows, roof crash rails, headers, floor and frame are all integrated and designed with one thing in mind: SAFETY!

The multiplexed electrical system that reduces downtime through easier diagnosis and fewer components. Thomas is the only manufacturer that has made the investment required to fully multiplex their buses!  No one in the industry can match this!!!

The large bonded windshield increases the glass area to more than 3362 square inches. The curved, more aerodynamic windshield will shed water and snow more easily. In addition, curved, bonded glass is more likely to resist chips from rocks and other road debris. It also is integrated into the structural design of the bus to ensure the safest design possible. When you combine this with the sloped hood, you won't believe the visibility in this bus!  

All glass in the bus has increased area of daylight resulting in superior visibility and safer transportation. Everything from rear emergency doors, to passenger windows, to the new bonded driver view window for the loading/unloading zone has been redesigned to ensure maximum visibility.

Thomas is the only manufacturer to use a CUSTOM punched frame rail.  Look at ours versus the competition and their "swiss cheese" "one size fits all" design.
